Fresh Herb Spoon Rolls

Soft and tender dinner rolls with the wonderful smell of fresh herbs - a great addition to a bread basket to accompany your Thanksgiving meal.

Ingredients

package regular active dry yeast

cups warm water (105°F to 115°F)

cups Gold Medal™ self-rising flour
3/4
cup butter, melted
3/4
cup chopped fresh chives
1/2
cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4
cup sugar

egg, slightly beaten

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease 24 regular-size muffin cups with shortening or cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, stir together yeast and warm water. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling three-fourths full.
  • 3 Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to cooling racks. Serve warm.
