I spent several dollars for blueberries to make this pie for my husband. I followed the recipe exactly. After eating the first slice, he got an upset stomach and then the runs. Being on a VERY fixed income, this wasted precious money. It went out with the trash.

The filling is just OK. What ever you do, DO NOT use FLOUR in your filling. The filling comes out with a taste of raw flour and you don't want that. Instead, use 3 tbsp of CornStarch in the mixture. The CornStarch will thicken it up.

I just made this using frozen blueberries my grandmother grew this summer. They were sitting in my freezer, so I decided to make pie. The smell of it baking was heavenly, and it tastes just like the pie my grandma used to make. Wonderful!

This is my go-to pie recipe...never fails! I like to use a frozen 3 berry mix and occasionally a pre-made pie crust. It is a quick and easy recipe in a pinch and ALWAYS gets rave reviews!

I came right home after picking fresh blueberries and made this pie. This was my first time making a blueberry pie. I liked that this recipe calls for 6 cups of blueberries. Serve warm with french vanilla ice cream and you have quite the special treat! Scrumptious pie! I was told this was the best blueberry pie my family has ever eaten! I do have to agree!

Fantastic recipe! It tastes like something my mother would have made. I've never msde a fresh blueberry pie and I think it's the best pie I've ever had! I like how the ingredients coated the blueberries before putting them into the pie. It's a perfect blend of flour, sugar and spice - just the right amout of each! I did choose to put dabs on butter on mine before covering with the top layer of piecrust. It's great served warm with ice cream on top!
