Yummy! Just make sure that when you're baking this, avoid substituting the butter with margarine. It really makes the taste less enjoyable (even if healthier) and be sure to leave enough crust dough to do the fluting on the edges if you want a great appearance.

This was one of two apple pie recipes that I tried for Christmas this year. My husband chose macintosh apples, and I tossed the apple mixture by putting it in a bowl with a lid and shaking it. It says one box for the pie crust mix, but I used one and a half boxes. I also used the directions on the pie crust box, which are less helpful than the ones online. My pie came out beautifully, and became my husband's new favorite apple pie.

I just made this for the first time, a test run before i make it for my boyfriend's birthday, he doesn't like cake... it is pretty great! my mixture was a little too runny, but if you add a teaspoon a cornstarch in with the flour and sugar it will absorb the moisture so that the crust won't be soggy! best of luck! great recipe!!

I did everything EXACTLY as the recipe called, but my pie turned out dry (even though the apples were juicy to begin with). There's no "juice" or glaze or whatever. Also, it tastes very spicy, not sweet at all. I can't figure out what the problem is, as there are over 20 raving reviews that this pie is sooo amazing! What happened??

This is the best apple pie I've ever tasted! I did burn the edges a little my first time making it, but other wise it was delicious! My advice: Cook it a little less than it says just to make sure its not burnt, and make sure to put the dots of butter on the pie, that really helps. AMAZING PIE!!! MAKE IT!

I made this for the first time today. I used 3 diffrent type of apples, this gave the pie a good flavor and texture. Was very easy to make. Boyfriend loved it. I will make this again.
