Expert Tips

Reynolds StayBrite Baking Cups are fashion-inspired designs that won’t fade during baking.

Instead of cooking and crumbling a couple slices of bacon, you can use cooked real bacon bits or pieces purchased in a jar at the supermarket.

I do not like to cook, but love bringing these cupcakes to family gatherings. Family is always raving over them, after they get past the fact that there is BACON ON A CUPCAKE (skeptical looks) lol. After a taste they want more, but they're gone by then!

I made these cupcakes for an all bacon BBQ with friends and they were amazing.. My cupcakes didn't last the night.. I didn't have the maple extract so I used maple syrup (about 2tablespoons) and I found I needed to add a tablespoon more of milk (three total) and it turned out amazing.. I also used a pound of bacon instead of a few strips so I could put a nice amount on all of them... Fabulous recipe and super easy.. I highly recommend these cupcakes.. I will make these again and again...

Does anybody know if you can use maple syrup instead of extract? I have everything here at home except the extract...
