Very good. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream. Has become part of our traditional Thanksgiving feast.

I had made this for our church small group and we almost did not have enough because everyone kept coming back for more! It was easy and delicious! I had substituted the nut with raisins as someone else had suggested and that was great!

I plan to try this rcipe this weekend. My daughter is on a gluten free diet, so I plan to use gluten free Bisquick. I sure hope this still turns out as good as it sounds. I'm having problems finding recipes I can use that are gluten free. I will appreciate any help anyone can give me.

I prepared this today. It turned out well. I substituted the milk with buttermilk and used one-half lightly packed brown and one-half white sugar for the filling. I also opted out of the nuts, but scattered 1/2 cup of raisins on the apples. It turned out excellent! My preference is to slice the apples as seen in the photo, and not to "thinly slice" them as the recipe suggests.

I made this for my dad's birthday dessert because apple crisp is his favorite. He and some of my other family said it was good, but I seriously think that they were just being nice... I thought it was horribly dry.

Thankyou for this apple crisp .I have made many but this topping stayed crunchy. My husband loves apple crisp but complains that most toppings get mushy. He went for seconds on this one.

I made this recipe tonight. It was quite good. I used a little lemon zest and juice on the apples, since I did not have very tart apples to start with. I also used a mixture of chopped pecans and walnuts, and sliced almonds. I will make this again, since my picky husband really enjoyed it.
