Made this for the first and NOT the last time! Made it per the instructions. My husband thought that it was a little too tangy (lime juice) but not enough for him to eat another piece! So I may cut down on it a bit next time. I'm going to try this for the 4th of July...make two crusts, make the strawberry the first layer, make the same recipe only using blueberries and maybe a raspberry jello with a little blue food color, use that as the second layer and top it off with whipped cream......Red White and Blue pie!!

Great recipe but I didn't want it real sweet so added cranberry jello instead than when it was almost set added 1/2 pkg softened cream cheese. Whip till fluffy Add sliced strawberries instead of mashed or crushed and fold into the whipped cream. Put in pie crust and wa laa A Great desert thats not too sweet. Chefdejour

Terrific recipe!!! I substituted strawberry jello with black cherry jello and used Cool Whip. The pie came out marvelous with a mixture of sweetness from fresh strawberries and a bit of tartness from the black cherry jello.
