Fluffy Key Lime Pie
(0 Ratings)
Adding whipped topping to this Florida favorite makes for a lighter, fluffier pie filling. Yum!

This recipe tastes great! I do suggest adding some more sugar because if you use real key limes and squeeze the juice yourself, it becomes very tart. Other than that, it tastes amazing.

A friend and myself made this recipe and I would definitely recommend it! We did make ours into several mini pies, added whipped topping and a circular lime on top. They were adorable! Although mine was quite tart (but still amazing!) my friend added 3 extra tbs of sugar and hers ended up being the best Key Lime Pie I have ever eaten. Enjoy this nice summertime treat!

Other then having to juice all the key limes it took to make 1/2 a cup, this recipe was very easy! I added a few drops of green dye and some key lime zest to the pie to make it more festive for St. Patrick's Day. :)

I used bottled key lime juice (easy), low fat frozen whipped topping, and no fat sweetened condensed milk. I saved a few calories and no one was the wiser. This was a big hit with my family at Mother's Day last year. It was so easy and sooo good.

I made this pie for thanksgiving this year and was quite nervous since my dad HATES key lime pies (he says theu're too tart). However, you had about 3 slices of this and loved it!!!! It was an absolutely hit with everyone and was gone before I could even try it. I did save about 1/4 cup of whipped topping though (for decorative purposes). I'll be making it again.

I have made this pie three times so far. It is a hit every time and my family loves it. When I was short on time I used a store bought Nilla pie crust and it went very nicely with the filling. I also place in the freezer for a little while before cutting. Makes it much easier and the slices come out looking nicer. I will be making this pie often. It is a winner!

This recipe is very good and very esay! It whips up in no time. I even used a pre-made gram crust. It was just as good and cut some of the time out. This recipe has just the right amount of sweetness and tartness!

I loved this! It was SO easy to make and tasted great! Although, instead of Cool Whip, I used a whole can of Redi Whip.

My whole family loved this pie! Super easy to make, I tried it with a chocolate cookie crust and a baked conventional crust both were good.
