I found the cookie mix at Walmart, but no other grocer in my area stocks it. I tried making the first batch by just rolling small amounts of the dough into balls. After baking, I dipped one side into melted chocolate, and then sprinkled on ground pecans. FABULOUS!! They were delicious and so easy to make. Very buttery with a rich shortbread flavor.I've been wanting to try making shortbread for a longtime, .... and now I've found my "recipe!" I like all of the Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes, but I think this one is my all time favorite. Thanks Betty!!!

would love to say these are the best cookies, as they are my favorite, but Nevada stores don't carry these. I even have a coupon for them, but can't buy them. Usually takes 6 months to a year before new things become available in this state.

Of All the cookies out in the World--Shortbread is my most fav.! I am thrilled to see recipes that allow for variation. Betty Crocker makes baking my fav's, so easy!!
