Have looked for a good whole-grain bread recipe for years that didn't turn out doughy in the center. This is it! I didn't have buttermilk so used 1T lemon juice with 1% milk and only 1/4-1/3 t salt since I'm cutting back on it. This is a keeper! Great with soups and salads. And it's easy. No waiting for yeast to work, etc.
