this was outstanding--even tho i used cheap canned crab that u find in the tuna aisle!!! i couldn't find muir glen tomatoes so i used another brand (no problem). also added a clove of chopped garlic and sprinkled in some old bay (just because). please make this, u wont regret it!

OMG this was sooo goood! My husband LOVED this! I added some old bay (not a whole lot) and used Hunt's Fire roasted tom. instead of the brand they suggested. Very very easy to make!

Absolutely amazing!!! Used extra chicken broth instead of the White wine as I was out. I also used roasted tomatoes with onions and garlic and also only used 2 cups of half and half and a 1/2 c. up milk, again all all I had! I also just used 2 teaspoons of dried basil (we live in small town) But still this was all amazing! Will definitely make this again, my picky eater requested I make this again next week!

Do not be intimidated by this recipe. It was very easy to put together and tasted fantastic. It was nice and rich and creamy everything you want in a bisque. I could not ask for better from a restaurant. Yummy!!!

Phenomenal!!! I could not find fire roasted diced tomatoes, so I just used regular diced tomatoes with onion and garlic. Also, being a huge garlic lover, I added a few teaspoons of minced garlic to the tomato mixture and let that simmer before adding it the butter/cream sauce. This was so delicious! Definitely restaurant-quality! Sooo easy to make~

Awesome. Will definitely make again. With red tomatoes and strips of basil bisque looked very festive! Served with rich cheesy biscuits.
