Expert Tips

If you plan to use this vase for a centerpiece for a table, keep the stems of the flowers short so your guests can see across the table.

Skip filling the vase with water. Instead of using cranberries and oranges, fill the vase with coffee beans and pecan halves, and add dried flowers.

This was a great centerpiece. My sister and I gave my Mom and Dad a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party two weeks ago and used this as a center piece on the food table. We used one 12 inch glass cillander and four 8 inch class cillanders. We used oranges, lemons and red craft rocks (we couldn't find cranberries this time of the year). It was georgeous!!!!

I love glass jars and vases. What a wonderful way to show off glass items with the fresh fruits of nature, and fresh cut flowers. Five spoons on this one!

What an inexpensive way to add elegance to any event. A perfect way to display the beautiful flowers (and cut up veggies) from your garden for all to enjoy. As for the singersongwriter, try getting a real job and perhaps you will be able to swing a few extra veggies or you might even try growing your own. It doesn't get any cheaper than that! Thank you BC for this terrific web site. I am a writer/editor for a newsletter and I always find fantastic recipes to share with our readers. Keep up the good work!
