I get rave reviews everytime I make this potato salad. In fact I am requested to make this whenever we are asked to come to a cookout. Great recipe. Family favorite

This is awesome potato salad but 10 minutes hands on prep is a joke...I allow a good hour of steady work to make this dish, including washing pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, measuring spoons, bowls, peeling eggs, washing celery, chopping sweet pickles (the recipe could use a few)--it takes 10 minutes to just peel and chop the potatos after cooking. In any case, it is worth it, classic and delicious and someone always asks for the recipe.

Excellent, must make it the night before. I had thought I put in too much vinegar. But by the next day the favors were blended beautifully. Everyone at our family get together loved it and asked for the recipe

I thought this potato salad was super easy and so yummy. If you use vinegar in yur recipe I would advise against using salt, but I dont like things that are too salty. I also added sweet relish because I like things a little sweeter. I took the finished product to a barbeque and left with an empty bowl. :)

I had never made potato salad either. I left out the vinegar and added green onions. It seemed like it wasn't "wet" enough though and so I kept adding and adding mayonnaise. I think if I made it again, I would cut the potatoes before cooking, as mentioned and also add milk instead of more mayonnaise. But the flavor is awesome!!

I made this Potato Salad in June and everyone loved it. My mother in law and my brother absolutly love this salad as it is on the recipe but for my mom I have to adjust the recipe a little. When I make this salad for my mom I take out the vinegar and hard boiled eggs and add some sugar, relish, pickle juice, and a little milk. Everybody has different taste when it comes to potato salad so I just have fun with it.

I thought it was easy to prepare, but I left out the celery and vinegar. I also added 1 Tbsp of sugar and used a dash of minced onion instead of the chopped onion to make it quicker and better tasting.
