I cooked this in the heat of an usually hot day for April in Texas as a Sunday dinner. Everybody loved it! The younger kids were not fond of acorn squash, so I cooked an additional dish with apples only. It was a wonderful to see them eagerly eat something so healthy . And I must mention the faboulous smell that filled the house as it baked! It drove everyone wild with anticipaction to eat. I think next time I will add sweet potatoes for the kids dish and see how that will go over. Thak you for another great recipe.
