My 5 year old and I just made these for the first time this weekend! The cookies turned out perfect, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The recipe was easy enough for her to follow and help with pretty much every step. We received compliments from everyone and a few requests for the recipe. We will certainly be making these again!!

This recipe is excellent! I've made these cookies several times and have had several people ask for the recipe! What I love most about this recipe is that they stay thick even in a high altitude. I didn't have to make any adjustments. This is a have to try recipe! :)

These cookies were okay because they had a great texture but the very next day they were really hard to bite into! So I put a piece of in the plastic bag with the cookies and then they eventually softened. Also, they are no longer chewy in the middle, only crunchy. I really like chewy better, personally. It all boils down to that it was still a decent tasting chocolate cookie. So I would give it 3 spoons. Bottom line is that I probably not make these chocolate cookies again because they are not chewy enough for me.

Very good. Didnt really look like the picture though. They loooked fabulous but not like the picture. They looked more like the cookies from the soft and chewey chocolate chip cookie recipe. Taste was very yummy. I brought them to a co-op and kids scarfed them down! I used mini chocolate chips and halved the recipe. ust make sure not to bake to long so they stay chewey when baked and cooled.
