Pizza is always a possibility when you have Bisquick® mix on the shelf! Making a crust has never been so quick and easy.

OMNOMNOM! This pizza was very good, but also small (which I don't care about, it feeds like 2 people so just double it how ever much you feel) but that's because I wanted it to be thicker. And I used thick pasta sauce and a mexican four cheese blend cheese for it :P and it turned out good lol! I did what the girl said about the whole oil thing, so I suggest doing that! 4 spoons!

My first two attempts with the crust was a failure. The first time I tried to make the crust it was just as PhishUhcook said it was two flaky and fell apart I got upset and quite. The second time I got it but as I was eating the pizza I realized the crust was to thin, tough and lacked taste. So I let some months pass before I attempted it again MY WAY lol. So first I mix about a tablespoon of sugar, few pitches of salt, one large egg and a 1/2 cup of milk together. Then I added two cups of Bisquick mix. You can always adjust the amounts used to your liking. There is no real recipe to this. I just tried mixing things together and it worked out.I made garlic butter and spread it on the dough. This time the crust came out much much better. It was lighter and tasted great like a biscuit.

We tried karigodwin68's version and it turned out perfectly! I used 3 cups of bisquick and 2/3 cup of boiling water- it mixed beautifully, then I added the olive oil and let it stand. The dough was super pliable! It was the most successful bisquick pizza crust we've ever had! Will do it this way from now on. :-)

Very quick and easy and it tastes great! Yes, it does taste like a biscuit, it is Bisquick after all, but I love biscuits.

This is a very quick and easy recipe. I followed Ms. Godwin's advice and used the olive oil and rest time.Used shredded chicken, onions, peppers, cheese and homemade sauce, sprinkled some fresh basil over the top. turned out delish.

I love the idea of creating my own pizza from scratch, so I tried this but the crust came out TOO soft and flaky--you want a pizza crust to be a LITTLE bit chewy, otherwise it just falls apart, like mine did. So next time I'm going to try KariGodwin's method of adding a bit of olive oil and then letting the dough rise for a few minutes; I'll probably give it a few more licks with the spoon and/or knead it a few times to stiffen it up just a tad. Because it sounds like a great way to make a homemade pizza; we can't stand the frozen kind and delivery is a once-in-a-while luxury.

This makes a great economical pizza dough - I use this recipe whenever we want pizza and I don't have the time to make a yeast dough. The key is to use very warm steaming hot tap water and then mix immediately until dough is mixed into a soft sticky ball - the dough tends to be more sticky than a traditional yeast dough - so I drizzle a tablespoon or two of olive oil (reg vegetable oil can be used) over the top of the dough. Then I cover with a cloth and place in a warm spot next to the stove. Letting the dough rest 5 min. The olive oil makes forming the crust easier with few tears. spices or garlic can be sprinkled on the dough to enhance flavor.I hope this helps those that have troubles with this recipe - also it doubles nicely for a larger 16 inch pizza.
