Emerald Drop Martini

Inspired by the Emerald Drop cocktail found at the W Bar in the W Hotel Seattle. Combines vodka, Midori melon liqueur and simple syrup in a change of pace from a traditional lemon drop martini.

1 1/2: ounces vodka

1 1/2: ounces Midori melon liqueur

1/2: ounce simple syrup

Directions

1 Fill martini shaker with ice. Add vodka, melon liqueur and simple syrup and shake vigorously.
2 Pour/strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with fruit of your choice and enjoy.

To make simple syrup combine equal parts sugar and water in small sauce pan. Heat on stovetop at low temperature, stirring until all sugar is dissolved. Let mixture cool and store in refrigerator.
