This recipe came out ok. However the inner portion of the meat could have been a lot more flavorfull. I doubled up on the orange juice and used ammoreto liquor. I also added a sprinkle of brown sugur to make it a little sweeter. Otherwise with out those additions it would have been pretty plain. My husband said that it wasn't exciting enough to have me make it again and I agree.

I did not like this recipe. Like others, I assumed there would actually be sauce or "gravy" to go over the chicken. The recipe says to stir the juice in with the "drippings" and wait for it to thicken, but there were no drippings or extra bits to stir in. I was making this for my family, so I obviously did not use the liquer, just doubled the orange juice, but there was very little flavor to it in my opinion. I have liked many recipes from this site, but this was not a memorable one. It looked so good in the picture too...

When looking for a different kind of chicken recipe, I look for simplicity and taste. This one had both. I added more oj and flour to make a heartier gravy to serve over mashed potatoes. Gave the chicken a more orange flavor also. I will make this one again.

Did not like this recipe at all. Had no flavor. Tasted just like plain fryed chicken. Thought it would be more flavorful. Will not make again.
