Easily put together and depending on how artistic you are, very eye-catching. I would suggest however that you soften up the dried fruits a bit by boiling them in a slightly sweet water or fruit juice. (Dried apricots can be quite tough to chew into.) I use brandy to boil them in. Cool them in the pot so they soak up the liquid. The liquor taste is very mild and accents the fruit. The fruit is easily chewable and will enhance the flavor of the cheeses you choose. An excellent after-dinner course or an elegant get-together nosh.
