If you like almond, you will LOVE these bars. They are soft and moist and the almond flavor is incredible. These are a HUGE hit at every party I take them to. Not to sweet or rich. YUM! YUM!! YUM!!!

This recipe is a must for those that love almond filling! I have made these at Christmas for the past 3 years and continue to love them. They stay moist long after many other cookies dry out. Although the can of almond paste is expensive, it is well worth it when you taste the end product. Betty Crocker should change the 4 and one half rating to a solid 5 RED SPOON rating! PS. I'm here today to print out the recipe for yet another friend's request.

This the most wanted cookie on my Christmas cookie trays. Wonderful flavor and does seem like it came from a very expensive pastry shop. The almond paste is a bit pricey but I bought mine in a cake supply store in a chunk and it was cheaper.The taste is worth every penny.

Tried this a couple of years ago and loved it. It is now part of my annual Christmas cookie baking. Great recipe and easy. It's my favorite Betty Crocker cookie mix recipe.
