We used left over turkey from thanksgiving. I do agree that it was a little bit salty and when I make it again I will just add three cans of soup instead of 4. But, other than that it was a great and very easy recipe!

This was pretty tasty! I made a few adjustments. I used chicken and added some salt, pepper, thyme, and onion powder to the soup mixture. I also added a sprinkle of garlic powder to the bisquick mixture and left out the poultry seasoning. It was a hit with both my husband (who generally is not a big pot pie fan) and my 1-year-old!

This was my first time every making a pot pie, I'm a new baker, and this was a mouth watering delight!! The crust didn't rise as high as the picture, thankfully though because it was about half the height and that was more than enough. I was very proud of myself, my 5 year old daughter actually did all the mixing and pouring. This is so much fun to do with the kiddos.

The only time I variated from the recipie is I added some left over veggies I had in the fridge AND I added an egg to the batter. No leftovers for my lunch!

My family and I really liked this. It was a great way to use up the leftover turkey and it was very easy, even with the "adjustments" that I made to the recipe. I didn't have the bag of mixed frozen veggies, so I chopped up two potatoes, a few fresh carrots, some fresh onion, and used some frozen peas and corn. I really liked the potatoes in this. It makes a big pan so my family of six ate it for two meals. The worst part was that it boiled over in my oven and made a mess. Next time I will put it on a baking sheet or tin foil to avoid this.
