I have made tiramisu before and it was very good, but time consuming. I thought this would be a good substitute. I was severely disappointed. The brownies were too soggy and the topping to brownie ratio was way off. These took way to much time to be called "easy". So glad I did a trial run before Mother's Day!

I made this today and found it to be very good. I used Betty Crocker's Original Supreme Premium brownie mix as the grocery did not have the type called for. I used 1-1/2 tablespoons light rum and found it to be just right. I also used a little more than 1/4 cup of coffee. Those who ate it thought it was a keeper.

These were terrible...too much coffee, rum and time for the results.

These were interesting but in my opinion the recipe calls for way too much rum extract. It was just too strong.
