pound lean ground beef

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

cups Old El Paso® taco sauce
1
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
1
cup Original Bisquick® mix
1/2
cup milk
1
egg

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400ºF. Cook beef and onion in ovenproof 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in taco sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 2 Stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over beef mixture.
  • 3 Bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

just finished makin this for my family of eight and all we can say is YUMMY!added a sprinkle of onion powder n chili powder to the bisquick toppin, added a can of corn n olives to the filling n topped off with the shredded lettuce,diced avocado n sprinkled cheese,very tasty. the topping was so nice n fluffy,i really enjoyed this recipe n cant wait to make it again!
