Get rid...RID of the fake yogurt and use GREEK YOGURT....not Greek style ...THE REAL THING and then you have a truly nutritious smoothie without all the chemicals and additives.

I made this today=Yummy! But I used a 6oz Dannon Light & Fit Strawberry Banana Yogurt, 3/4 cup skim milk, and 1/2 cup of frozen unsweetened strawberries! Makes 1 serving (about 186 calories)

Since I couldn't find the Yo plait Greek yogurt, I used Yo plait low-fat Strawberry yogurt and thought it was a great morning starter for a busy day.

I have been using this recipe for a few years using Dannon Light & Fit yogurt. I recently tried the Yoplait Greek yogurt but I didn't think it was as good. Needed a little sweetener, which I don't use. I love to try different combinations of fruit (frozen and/or fresh).

I like the fact that it is a healthy substitute but it wasn't sweet enough and I wasn't a fan of the Yo plait Greek yogurt.

Since discovering Greek yogurt, I'm always looking for ways to use it. It is simply delicious with a creamy, thick texture...in this smoothie it is excellent. I never buy Yoplait or those others anymore.
