My hubby likes sloppy Joe, so that is THE idea for the dinner today. I did not get the gluten free one, because I still have some Bisquick left. But glad that Bisquick has this option for my next shopping list. Here are some pictures, and I am eating it...nice..really for really fast way to make it happen. http://www.chaisfood.com/2013/01/sloppy-joe-pot-pie.html

My daughter in law is gluten intolerant so we started using this product and love it so much we prefer it to the regular especially in waffles . I can't wait to try it with other recipes this one for sure.

My whole family loved this recipe, especially with the addition of the sesame seeds on top! I also put garlic and onion powder in the mix before pouring it over the meat, gives it a little burst of unexpected flavor. Also I've recently started adding white Cannellini beans for a bit of additional nutrition. Such a great recipe and endless ways to make it unique every time!

Can I make this recipe with regular Bisquik since I'm not gluten intolerant?

Love this recipe! I don't usually like to eat gf buns because they have a tendency to be heavy, so haven't had sloppy joes in a while. When I saw this recipe, I knew I had to try it. So glad I did. The Bisquick topping baked up so nice and 'fluffy', not the least bit heavy. It was even good warmed up 2 days later. All the guys in the house liked it and they don't even have to eat gluten free. It was easy to make and only took a few minutes to brown the meat with the onions and put all the ingredients together in the baking pan. We used ketchup to add a little more flavor, and I guess it could be added to the recipe itself. When I rewarmed the one serving that made it to the frig, I chopped up dill pickles and sprinkled them over the top because i usually have them with my sloppy joe. Made it even better! I will definitely be making this again.

This recipe is excellent and a family favorite. Two members of our family are gluten intolerant so making meals that everyone can eat and enjoy are a plus. This meal is super easy to make and tastes great!
