Easy to make and yummy. I substituted 3 pork loin chops and browned them in a skillet without the bbq. It was a good choice.

It would be best to use an Asian barbecue sauce for this. Regular barbecue sauce just doesn't work at all. In fact, the flavor is an unpleasant surprise. I agree with the other poster who said Asian bbq sauce plus an egg to finish. Even the vegetables are a bit much when you have fresh carrot sticks and fresh Asian peas and fresh cabbage slaw from which to choose.

Chinese fried rice is not made with bbq sauce. Kansas City baby back ribs are!

I used an Asian BBQ sauce with a little heat and also added scrambled egg. Quick and pretty tasty - definiately not your usual fried rice with the bbq sauce but a good one skillet meal.

The barbeque theme was a little off-putting. I was confused as to whether I were eating Asian food or All American Barbeque. It wasn''t horrible, just not the way we eat BBQ!!
