whipped topping if desired

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 in baking dish.
  2. Peel and core each apple. Cut each apple into 8 wedges.
  3. Separate the crescent rolls into triangles. Roll each apple wedge into crescent rolls starting at the small end. Press to seal edges. Place into the baking dish.
  4. Melt butter in a small sauce pan and stir in sugar and cinnamon. Pour over top of apple dumplings. Pour Mt. Dew over top of apple dumplings.
  5. Bake in oven for 45 mins or until golden brown. Let cool 10-15 mins and top with whipped cream if desired.
