Absolutely delicious and a cinch to make! Like others mentioned, you can easily change out the apple jelly to any other fruit jelly (apricot, etc.) that you prefer. Perfect summer dessert.

This is such a great recipe, I make this all the time, sometimes when I don't have cream cheese I use Cool Whip and I get great reviews, I have passed this recipe to family and friends and they always get good compliments. Oh but I never use any jelly on the fruit tart.

Much easier to stir the apple jelly (or apricot preserves) into the fruit gently, before you spread it on the tart. Makes the fruit sweet and shiny!

I made this for a x-mas party where the host thinks she is the best/fanciest baker. My tart was all gone first and the people there wanted the recipe. My mom is a professional chef/baker and requests that I make this for family gatherings. It is a hit with everyone. (Young and old)EXCELLENT

Bisquick came out with this recipe many years ago, and I have made it every year since. It is without a doubt the BEST FRUIT TART EVER!!!! Everyone goes crazy when they taste it! Everything from the sugar cookie crust to the special creamy filling, and the glazed fruit topping I arrange in pretty rows is always a huge hit. And there's lots that little hands can help with like spreading the filling, arranging the fruit and glazing. This has become one of my signature recipes and one of the reasons I fell totally in love with Bisquick. I'm a knowledgeable cook and all kinds of cooks from the beginner to the advanced get rave reviews using Bisquick!

I''ve been making this recipe since Bisquick originally published it, probably 20 years ago. It is absolutely amazing and one of my favorite and most requested. I took the advice of adding tsp of vanilla to the pastry part, and I added a little bit more cream cheese then what the recipe called for. I forgot to buy the jelly, but we didn't miss it, so I won't worry about it next time I make this, and I WILL make this again. It turned out sooooo good--a little misshapen, but who cares. My picky husband loved it, and said it brought back childhood memories. Excellent recipe!
