Using rich whipping cream eliminates the need for measuring and mixing shortening in these easy-mix, extra tender biscuits.

Have not made yet. If this is the same recipe from 25 years ago, I know they are good. The recipe was on the back of the 5lb flour bag. Will be making them tomorrow..

These biscuits were REALLY good. Its my first time making biscuits from scratch and I love them! They're extremely soft and light... not too thick or anything. I had to add a bit more whipped cream to mix it but all in all I give them a 10!!!! You should give them a try!

These were good, but I ended up adding probably about 1/2 cup more of flour and a tablespoon of oil to help with the stickyness. They are incredibly sticky and you definitely will not be able to knead them following the recipe. Also, the texture and taste is more like a role/biscuit. I wouldn't say they are the "best" biscuits.

So crisp and buttery, so flaky and light! These are the biscuits you'll want to make when your honored in-laws visit, as well as for everyday family meals. They are the best I've made, and I was so glad to have that extra heavy cream on hand. My father-in-law said they reminded him of his mother's biscuits, when they had their own milk cow and cream by the gallon. Try these, you'll just love them.t

Not only were these biscuits easy, no cutting butter and not a lot of kneeding. But, they were rich and fluffy, I no longer make the "traditional" biscuit receipe but this one for my family and they prefer it.
