Measuring can be confusing especially when you have -cups- and - ounces-. So I think when they told you the size of the bottle in ounces , they were trying to say you needed at least this size to get a 1/4 cup out of it.

My family loved this dish. Instead of canned stir-fry veggies, I used a bag of frozen veggies, but I thawed them before adding them to the casserole.

The hamburger chow mein was quick and easy to assemble. The dish is to bland, I will experiment with additional spices and possibly make it with hot green chiles next time.

This sounds good, but why does the teriyaki sauce need to come from a 10oz. container??? Does is taste different from other sizes. I have never noticed??!!!

I am not a fan of the canned stirfry veggies(its a texture thing) so I added chopped fresh celery and can of water chestnuts for crunch, also extra Lite Soy Sauce. It was okay.

I used to make a similar recipe years ago. I used celery, peas and onions. Instead of teriyaki sauce, I use low socium soy sauce. It is wonderful.

My mother used to make a variation of this when I was a kid -- this would have been in the early 70s. I loved it! I'm going to try this using my mother's recipe. We don't like how sweet teriyaki is. My mom used a packet of brown gravy mix. I think I'll try an envelope of beef and broccoli mix. Canned stir fry veggies are in every grocery store and easy to find!

This would be better with fresh stir fry vegetables of your choice. I have never seen stir fry vegetables in a can.

i made this recipe only i added two can's of chinese vegetables and two cans of beef broth along with a 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce and put it on top of chinese noodles and my husband and i loved it!! So it is a matter of one's individual taste. I will be making this again.
