Pretty good recipe. I worked with it a bit. Used minute brown rice, cooked in chick broth rather than water. Then i added alittle garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. We enjoyed it and will eat again.

I didn't use the water it called for in the recipe just on the Minute Rice Box. We also added more Pasta Sauce!! It was Delicious!!!!

I was very excited about making and eating this dish and found it was bland. After adding salt it wasn't all that bad. I try not to add salt when its not called for but I felt this dish needed it! Also will try a different rice, I only had white rice and it got all congealed. I think an orzo or rice pilaf would be nice with this dish.

Hey Geolaf2, don't waste our time rating a recipe with a snotty review without even commenting on the recipe. This dish was pretty good. I also used flavored rice and it added another flavor dimension. This is an easy recipe for beginner cooks.

Delicious! The man liked it too (very important). Next time, I would cut down on the water and cook for about 2 minutes longer. I served this dish with a slotted spoon and it was still a bit brothy. I made it with Uncle Ben's chicken whole grain white rice, definitely added some flavor that wouldn't have been there with plain rice. Overall, a winner! I am a novice and it turned out great.

This is not the worst dish I have ever made, but will probably not make it again.
