Easy Cheesy Skillet Lasagna
lb bulk Italian pork sausage
pouch (9 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy three cheese cooking sauce
cups uncooked mini lasagna (mafalda) noodles or medium egg noodles (3 oz)
cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
Garnish, If Desired
cup diced bell pepper*
In 10-inch skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, the cooking sauce and noodles. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium.
Simmer uncovered about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese. Cover; let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with bell pepper.
*Choose a variety of colored bell peppers for the garnish.
Serve with mixed green salad.
