Easy Cheesy Beef Pot Pie

Easy Cheesy Beef Pot Pie

An easy and quick, but fulfilling dinner that is sure to be enjoyed by the entire family! Also, normally, it costs around $15-20 for me to make for a family of 7! And there's always leftovers!

Servings

1
lb ground beef
1
can Campbell's Cheese Soup
1
can Beef gravy
1 1/2
cups shredded cheese (sharp, med., mixed, choose your own)
pepper to taste
salt to taste
1
cup Bisquick Pancake and Baking Mix
1/2
cup milk
1
eggs
1
large can green beans
1
large can corn
1
can diced potatoes
1
can mixed peas and carrots
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cook ground beef until browned.
  3. While ground beef is cooking, mix together all other items except Bisquick, milk, eggs, and 1/2-1 cup of cheese in baking dish (I add extra, but we like it really cheesy). With the veggies, sauce, and gravy, you can add or deduct what you want in your own personal pot pie. These are just my family's personal favorites to add. (If using a deep dish 13X9 pan, it's best to add more than one can of each, especially the gravy and cheese soup.)
  4. Mix together Bisquick, eggs, and milk (in medium size bowl to the side) until well mixed. Add in salt and pepper to taste. (If using a deep dish 13X9 pan, double the quantities of this mixture to be able to fully cover the beef/veggie mixture)
  5. When ground beef is finished browning, drain well. After draining, mix beef with vegetable/sauce mix. Add in salt and pepper to taste again. I also add in minced onions and garlic, with just 1-2 shakes of the containers at this point, but this is completely optional.
  6. Pour Bisquick mixture on top of the beef mixture.
  7. Put in the oven, baking for 25-30 minutes until the breading begins to turn golden, then add remaining shredded cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes or so until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the oven, and let stand 5-10 minutes to cool and let thicken. Serve and enjoy!

I normally make this receipe in a deep dish 13X9 pan, but I gave instructions for a normal 13X9 pan, so to make more or less, leave out/add some veggies or less/more meat. 13X9 should feed 4-6 easily.
