This was AMAZING! LOL Although, bear in mind, when it says 20 minutes for prep time, it's assuming you have already peeled and thinly sliced your apples. Otherwise, the flavors melded together incredibly! There are only two of us to feed and even after a couple of days, it was still soft and delicious down to the last bite!

I made this for my family. They LOVED it. My aunt kept sneaking slices after she had tasted it. It was easy to make but I used a 13x9 pan since I did not have a 15x10 and baked for the time indicated. It came out great. If you like apple crisp you will love this too. The craisins are a delicious addition. I may try cutting down slightly on the butter and sugar also as suggested by the previous reviewer.

GOOD, EASY, TASTY I baked this recipe last night for guests. They loved it and took some home. It make a lot, so I froze some. Knowing my guests taste for sweets, I used about 1/4 less brown & white sugar. The next time I make it, I'll cut the butter down a little too. The apples where juicy, so I don't think I'll miss the extra butter in the crumble.

This recipe is AWESOME!!!! I was perplexed by the picture cause it looks like cake, and was leary of the sour cream and eggs, but this recipe is a keeper!!! It's a cross between bars, cake, and apple crisp! The best of all worlds!!! :) lol If you have a crowd to please and lots of apples, try this, everyone will come back for more!!!
