Thede were delicious. I loved the semi-sweet chocolate chips on top. The only problem I came across was that I ran out of icing and had to leave some un-iced, so they didn't get eaten. I gave these out to some of may neighbors and they said they looked great! These cupcakes have the perfect amount of sweet!

Amazing! I used marshmallow fluff for the cream center and dark chocolate cake mix instead of devils food....it was incredible!!!

My daughter and I made these and they came out terrific! I read about the issue using a ziplock bag to squeeze the frosting into the midle so I did not even bother to go this route. Instead, I had my duahgter use my cookie press which has a pointy nozzle attachment. My daughter had no trouble squeeing the filling into the center. Everyone loved the cupcakes. They were a great sucess!

Very delicious; however, I'm with the other reviewer that said the zip lock bag did NOT work for the filling. It was a mess -- I had frosting everywhere -- except IN the cupcake!! I think a decorator bag would work better. Thank you though. The kids ate 'em up!!

These were delicious! The only thing I would change is that the recipe says to use a zip lock bag and cut the tip to fill, well a pastry bag with those metal tips would have been much better, I didn't think about it, and I do own one! They were a huge hit at work, and the choco chips on top make them look sooo classy (plus it hides my novice ways of putting frosting on). Will definitely make again.

I made this recipe for my friends and family on Valentine's Day, and I have to say...WoW. It was incredibly easy to make (I am not much for box cakes/frosting) and tasted delicious... not like the bozed stuff normally does. The only alteration I made though was to add red food coloring to the frosting that I injected into the cupcake and sprinkled pink sugar on the crowning. It added a nice coloring and cuteness to it :) . Also, I used jumbo cupcake paper holders in a regular-sized tin and added a normal-slightly more amount of batter and baked for the regular time period. The cupcakes came out larger (taller) than ordinairy but didn't come all the way to the top of the paper... allowing room for the frosting which broke even with the rim. I was surprised at how nicely this made packing/storing them because the frosting didn't get all mashed or mixed together... retaining the cupcake cuteness. Definately try it and the recipe! especially if you are new to baking...or just want a simple yet delicious treat.
