You asked for it and we doubled it! Twice the cinnamon-sugar in the middle and on top adds extra sweetness to a melt-in-your-mouth coffee cake.

I made this cinnamon coffee cake, served it warm and topped each piece with cherry pie filling and whipped topping. My mom and best friend raved how wonderful it tasted... Made me feel really good to serve something so easy to make and delicious! I guess this is so good it could be considered a dessert.

My family loves this recipe. I did change it up a little bit. I increased the milk to 2/3 cup and added 2 more TBSP to the batter and some cinnamon to make it have more flavor. It turned out great. I will be making this again for sure!

If I remember right, the original recipe had an option of adding 2 T. oil and 2 T. sugar to the batter, which helped the texture and made it a little sweeter to the taste. I am getting ready to make this for the grandkids when they wake up!

I really liked this Coffee Cake. The batter was a bit bland so I added about 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon to the batter. The rest I followed the recipe! Top batter was hard to spread, I may thin with a little more milk, like someone else suggested. Will make again!!

Like Mastercheif said, This is also a memory of mom. My mother didn't bake much, but when she did this was a nice treat. I looked for it forever. Now I share it with my family.I find this to go with anything, not to sweet and the smell in the house in winter is more than I could ask for. Kim~

This recipe is a real eye wetter for me. My mother used to bake it when we went camping. She passed when I was about 8. I continued the tradition for my kids and they love it. It may take some effort to make but boy is it well worth it.

Also very hard to spread in the pan. I didn't like that part of baking it.
