You asked for it and we doubled it! Twice the cinnamon-sugar in the middle and on top adds extra sweetness to a melt-in-your-mouth coffee cake.

Loved this coffee cake. I did add the oil and a little more milk as some suggested. The double-streusel is what makes it so good. The almond glaze that was suggested in the recipe is a must, it brings it all together. It's delicious!!

We loved this coffee cake. I was immediately attracted to the "double-streusel" in the email I received. I followed many of the suggestions to increase the milk to 2/3 cup and I also added just 1 Tbsp oil to the batter and we thought it was perfect. I'll be making two more (in an 8" square pan) to take for Easter

I have been making this coffee cake for over 20 years. I use more milk in the batter and add walnuts or pecans to the topping. Over the years I've adjusted the recipe to make it my own and that is one of the great things about Bisquick, it is so flexible. When I was first married 50 years ago, I was given the a Betty Crocker cookbook. I've had many cookbooks over the years but my original BC. Cookbook is still the one I turn to on a. Regular basis. You can't beat this great brand for the best family recipes. My 50 year old cookbook and I have made hundreds of meals together.

Was so looking forward to making this. Is the liquid measure correct? Found it to be like trying to spread glue. Some mess. Did anyone else have this problem and how did you handle it?

I made this cinnamon coffee cake, served it warm and topped each piece with cherry pie filling and whipped topping. My mom and best friend raved how wonderful it tasted... Made me feel really good to serve something so easy to make and delicious! I guess this is so good it could be considered a dessert.

My family loves this recipe. I did change it up a little bit. I increased the milk to 2/3 cup and added 2 more TBSP to the batter and some cinnamon to make it have more flavor. It turned out great. I will be making this again for sure!

If I remember right, the original recipe had an option of adding 2 T. oil and 2 T. sugar to the batter, which helped the texture and made it a little sweeter to the taste. I am getting ready to make this for the grandkids when they wake up!
