The original smoothie! This blend of yogurt and fruit will get your day off to a great start.
container (2 lb) Yoplait® 99% Fat Free creamy vanilla, creamy strawberry or creamy strawberry banana yogurt (4 cups)
packages (10 oz each) frozen sweetened strawberries or raspberries, partially thawed
medium bananas, sliced (2 cups)
In blender, place ingredients. Cover; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.
Pour into 8 glasses. Serve immediately.
You want to use a "just right" banana for this recipe. If the banana is too ripe, it will be too soft; if it's not ripe enough, it won't add enough sweetness to the shake.
Turn this into a Double-Fruit Parfait by layering the yogurt-and-fruit mixture with fresh raspberries or sliced strawberries in a tall glass.
