cup sugar

cup melted margarine

teaspoon vanilla

cup milk

cup margarine
1/2
cup chocolate chips

  • 1 Beat four eggs for 3 minutes. Add 1 1/3 cup sugar. Beat well.
  • 2 Add 1 cup melted margarine.
  • 3 Sift together cocoa, salt and flour.
  • 4 Combine with creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Beat well.
  • 5 Using a waffle iron, drop heaping teaspoonfuls onto medium hot iron and bake for 1 to 2 minutes. If the iron is large enough, you make make multiple cookies at a time.
  • 6 Place cookies on sheets of wax paper to cool.
  • 7 To create the frosting combine 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup margarine. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
  • 8 Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips.
  • 9 Immediately spoon frosting over cookies, leaving the ends unfrosted (to look like a turtle).
