5 stars! or in this case--spoons! This is the only recipe I have ever made that my son has SPECIFICALLY asked me to MAKE JUST FOR HIM! He's usually the one who's like--"it doesn't matter, I like it all..." but this is the ONE that became his number 1 choice! Thanks Betty Crocker!

I just took these to a gathering this evening, and they were a hit. I did want something nut-free, so I replaced the walnuts with toffee bits.

My boyfriend and I made these for Easter. I still have family members asking for these! They are extremely easy. I would suggest having some milk chocolate chips added with the bittery part of the cocoa. Happy baking. :) Oh yeah...the first time we made these, they stuck a lil to the foil. If that happens, hit them in the over for about five mins upside down on a cookie sheet. The foil will peel right off. :)

These were very time-consuming to make, but they were worth every second once I tried them. My dad took half the pan to work, and didn't come back with any--he said they went incredibly quick. I meant to save a dozen or two for my mom to take to BSF but we ate them up in a few days! The center filling is super sweet, but the unsweet cookie on the top and bottom offset it, and the melted chocolate chip layers means it ends up perfectly balanced. Wonderful!

I must have done something wrong, my cookies turned out gooey. Not easy to cut in squares.
