This recipe was really good! It was so nice to have the potatoes already done on Thanksgiving morning! I doubled the recipe for my crowd but I think next time I'll probably triple it! Sooo good!

This is such a timesaver when preparing a big holiday dinner. The potatoes heat while I make the gravy. So much better than using a crock pot to keep them warm as they do not get runny from the steam building up under the lid.

I reheat mine in a large crock pot, stirring occasionally-saves room in the over-crowded oven!

The secret is to use lowest heat setting for drained potatoes and shake often until no more steam rises from the pot. The dryer the spuds (I prefer Idahos), the fluffier the end product. I''ve made these with cream cheese, but the cream is a real improvement.

These were the best mashed potatoes I have ever made. I didn''t have to use all the milk and cream, but they were creamy and delicious! They received rave reviews from everyone at my Thanksgiving table.
