Ingredients

carrots, peeled, cut into chunks
1/2
cup water

Directions

  • 1 In small saucepan, cook carrots and water over medium heat until carrots are tender. Drain.
  • 2 Transfer carrots to food processor or blender. Cover; process with on-and-off pulses until mixture reaches desired consistency. If mixture is too thick, add water or vegetable or chicken broth.
  • 3 Allow to cool completely before serving to baby.

Expert Tips

The recipe can be easily doubled or tripled.

Add spices or herbs as your child grows in age and can tolerate them.
