These scrumptious swirled confections are wonderful for gift-giving or adding to a plate of homemade candies.

It's that time of year and how I do love divinity. I think you are probably thinking of Betty Crocker Homestyle Fluffy White Frosting Mix. You can search in the products section and use the product locator http://www.bettycrocker.com/products/supermoist-cakes/products/other%20baking%20mixes/frosting-homestyle-fluffy-white Good luck and Happy Holidays!

I remember my mother use to make divinity every Christmas season, But I have a question, and when asking others this question I get a strange look from everybody. When making divinty, what is the temperture have to be outside, and what has to be the humidty level at out side I know it has to be a Sunny day, with no clouds.

This is one of the finest recipes for divinity that I have ever tried. Although this recipe is not for the faint of heart as it is time consuming but oh so worth every ounce of effort that you will have to put forth. I would suggest making it as early in the day as possible and you will go through the rest of your day with a smile on your face and a cheeriness in your step. No wonder it is called divinity because once you've had a piece you will think that you are in heaven.

I've made this for years, both with a stand mixer and a hand held one. The stand one was certainly easier, but the hand mixer works fine for me.

My 1978 Betty Crocker cookbook is "somewhere in storage" and with the holidays coming up, I needed to make this perfect recipe. It is so easy BUT make sure you use a good candy thermometer - it's vital!! Love this recipe!!!!!

This is a great, easy recipe. I've made it several times, and it always comes out great. Just made another batch, and added peppermint flavoring and it is wonderful!!! This Divinity simply melts in your mouth when you eat it.

This is a verry good recipe. My Grandmother used to make divinity and I went and wanted to learn candy and Betty Crocker is where I started. This recipe does not call for extract so the candies will have more flavor if they have sat for at least a day to let the flavors blend.

Divinity is one of the most precious treats for me because of its sentimental meaning in our family...a wonderful tradition. The only problem is I can cook and bake anything in the world except for divinity and chocolate chip cookies. LOL I know sounds absurd about the CCcookies but is true. If anyone has any advice about Divinity for someone who doesn''t have a stand mixer (yet) it would be greatly appreciated.
