Look for the strawberry shortcake rolls with the cookies and other bakery products at the grocery store. Or mix things up by substituting doughnut holes, brownie pieces or miniature muffins.
For added color, decorate the kabobs with candy sprinkles.
Use your favorite flavor of cake mix and frosting instead of chocolate.
One cake mix makes a big batch of cake balls, so you’ll have plenty left over to serve for another occasion. If you’re having a party, increase the other ingredients and make as many kabobs as you have cake balls.
