Date Walnut Cookies

Date Walnut Cookies

Oatmeal and dates marry in a rich cookie-jar favorite. Make two batches if you want the cookie jar to stay full very long.

I love this recipe. I make it for holidays, since it is so-o-o-o easy. Makes a good cookie exchange option. My husband will not stay out of them when I am baking, he loves them! Grandkids like them also. Try it you will like it too.

I made these cookies for more than one gathering where other cookies were present. These cookies were the hit of both parties. Everyone raved and wanted more! Good anytime of year not just at the holidays.

Not really a review. I have a different recipe than this in my Betty Crocker cookbook. It doesn't use oatmeal, it's just listed as Date-Nut cookies. I was trying to share the recipe and was disappointed to not find it here.
