2 1/4: cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

1 2/3: cups sugar

2/3: cup baking cocoa

3/4: cup shortening

1 1/4: cups water

1 1/4: teaspoons baking soda

1: teaspoon salt

1: teaspoon vanilla

1/4: teaspoon baking powder

2: eggs

Directions

1 Heat oven to 350ºF. Beat all ingredients in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
