These are very good cookies. I will definately make these again. I did however, add some orange zest & I drizzled the dark chocolate onto the cookie, instead of dipping it. Dipping them in the chocolate, made it too sweet. I found that drizzling the chocolate, made them just perfect. These cookies have made a fine addition to my cookie trays.

Did not like the dark chocolate dipped ones, but the white chocolate dipped ones knocked our socks off!

People rave about these cookies whenever I make them. A permanent addition to the Christmas cookie baskets I give as gifts to friends and co-workers. I increase the orange extract to a full teaspoon and increase the apricots to 1 1/2 cups. I find cutting up the apricots with kitchen scissors is much easier than chopping with a knife. Just dip the scissor blades in water occassionally so the apricots don't stick.

I made these for my boyfriends dad's birthday because he is a cookie lover but I ended up keeping some for myself because they were so delicious! I never had apricots before and I just assumed I wouldn't like them but with the dark chocolate and the hint of orange, it was a win all around! Definitely added to my recipe box and will definitely make again.

The first time I made these they looked like lumpy rocks and you could not dip them in the chocolate. After that I rolled into balls and pressed down with shot glass dipped in flour. Also used half the amount of chocolate. The fresh grated orange peel makes a difference. I spoon on the chocolate and then shake off the extra. They turned out great! I have made these 5 times now and they look and taste wonderful! You are sure to enjoy them!

These cookies were amazing. They were so good and super easy to make. The orange extract gives it such a great flavor and the chocolate reminds me of chocolate oranges. The only thing that I did different was that I drizzled the chocolate on the top of the cookie instead of dipping the cookie in the chocolate. I tried to dip it in and it seemed like too much chocolate - but drizzling it on was less messy and the perfect balance. I will definitely make these again!
