This is a great recipe that reminded me of the pies my grandmother use to make. Depending on your oven, you might have to adjust the cooking temperature.

Great pie! It should be noted that the cooking time on the recipe was grossly underestimated. The actual baking time was 1 hour for me. Also, this definitely tastes better the day after you make it to allow for additional setting up of the pie.
