Hi. I live in Texas also Veronika, but in Laredo. When I got back from Peru it took me forever to find them in our HEBs, but they are caleld calabasita here. I tried several caiguas rellenas recipes with these calabasitas and they taste almost the same as in Peru. Hope this helps.
