I substituted cocoa rice cereal for the Chex cereal and omitted the cinnamon. They are very rich, but delicious!

These cookies were a wonderful suprise! I decided to make them for Christmas this last year for a new cookie variety. The flavor of the Cinnamon Chex with the chocolate was GREAT and the cinnamon glaze added that extra something. The cinnamon glaze really adds to these cookies. These are a definate repeat, but I will be making a double batch instead.

Are you suppose to put butter in these cookies? The brownies call for 1/4 cup of butter but there is no butter in the cookie recipe.

The cookies did not want to come off the pan. They "krinkled" into an oval shape. I wasn't going to bother baking the second batch until I tasted one! Delicious. (My son-in-law who is not GF ate six of them for dessert on Sunday.) Next time, I will make them with the Honey Nut Chex instead of the Cinnamon ones. I did not make the glaze as directed. I heated up a few tablespoons of Betty Crocker Cream Cheese Frosting (GF) in a measuring cup for 30 seconds in the microwave and drizzled it over the cookies. They were on the cooling rack with paper underneath for easy clean up. I will make these cookies again for sure!!!!!!
