cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch® cereal

cup Cheerios® cereal

bag (6.6 oz) original-flavored tiny fish-shaped crackers

bag (7 oz) pretzel sticks
1/2
cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 300ºF. In large bowl, mix all ingredients except butter.
  • 2 Pour melted butter over mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread in ungreased 13x9-inch pan.
  • 3 Bake 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

First, I changed things a bit to make it easier to make, lower in calories, and easier on the pocketbook. I used all generics, and I used generic Cheez-Its in place of Goldfish crackers. Second, I omitted the butter and toasting part and instead just threw all the ingredients together and called it a day. I figured I didn't need the extra calories (butter) so why bother? And it's still pretty tasty. I love the sweet and salty taste, and it took all of three minutes to throw together.

my grandchildren were spending the weekend~~tried to make something good for them and tasty too. This did the job and sooo simple.I did add some dried cranberries.
