Great pork sandwiches my family loves. Great with chilled coleslaw and baked beans or the side of warm soup.

pounds pork shoulder

tablespoon salt

tablespoon pepper

tablespoon paprika

tablespoon brown sugar

teaspoon ground red pepper

cups apple juice

cup vinegar, apple cider

tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/2
tablespoon liquid smoke
1/2
tablespoon garlic powder
  1. Mix the dry ingredients in small bowl. Sprinkle rub all over the pork roast, pressing into the pork. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  2. Combine the liquid ingredients and pour over pork in crock pot. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the pork is fork tender and shreds easily. Remove and let stand until cool enough to handle. Shred the pork with a two forks. Serve on buns topped with BBQ sauce of your choice.
